New Updates from Paradice Garage:
How many of you guys got that Crypto mecca newsletter invitation that I sent out?
Basically it’s a little newsletter that I’m putting together talking about crypto and I figured I might as well share this information.
If you want to learn more about Cryptocurrency and how I literally made 14,000 within the past couple of weeks with this altcoin that I invested in and I cashed out and actually bought back in a little while ago just to get back.
Subscribe to this newsletter, it’s called Crypto Mecca, here’s the link if you guys are interested in making money with cryptocurrency, like bitcoin, ethereum, and a bunch of different altcoins, just subscribe right over here https://learn.tonybrichie.com/cryptomecca44993745, in that link, and you’re good.
And guys, just know that there’s going to be a ton of VIP content coming out this year. As just you guys been following me, we’ve been remodeling the home. I got two guys in there wrapping up flooring, painting walls.
More guys coming this week and it’s getting there. The garage is pretty much ready for paint. It’s just hard to start filming content with people coming in and out, and we’re using the garage as the main entryway.
So I can’t create content right now but we will be doing it within the next week or so probably two weeks, give or take as soon things calm down.
I’m thinking of doing some heavy metal flake on the next couple of projects that I do. Like we’re gonna go like metal flaked out. I’m thinking of metal flaking the tesla with some crazy metal flake colors like a chameleon metal flak.
The tesla out with some black or red or black and red graphics on it. I just want to do more custom colors and custom metal flake projects. Kind of want to do that.
That’s what I feel like doing. So we’re going to be deep-diving into that. Multiple clearcoats, clearing, sanding, clearing again, sanding, and clearing again. That type of hardcore custom.

Digital pressure regulator. Have any suggestions?
I’m actually getting samples sent to me and I’m going to be doing some reviews, so I will hold off in letting you know right this moment.
But that’s actually something that I am going to be interested in and actually talking about in the next videos. But yeah, digital pressure regulator, yes, we’re going to be talking that soon.
Got an older truck. Has to rust on fender wells (surface rust) wanting to go to bare metal then epoxy and throw some flares on. OK to just leave it in epoxy under flares?
You could do that, seal it with epoxy and you should be good.
That’s not gonna hurt, what you could do is undercoat it after you epoxy it. Or buy some rubberized undercoating paintable. So you epoxy it, let that dry for a day or two, and then hit it with some rubberized undercoating, like some raptor liner or something, if you really want to seal it.
Get all around it. Seal it up, put your flares on, and then finish the outside.
But you don’t have to do the raptor liner (I mean, it’s not necessary) you can get cheaper like can paintable. Evercoat has an aerosol version, Bondo has a sprayable version of an aerosol can, they’re like eight bucks a can. Paintable undercoating, that’s the one you want to get. You don’t want to get that sticky stuff.
What’s the best spray can primer for spot repair? Is there a primer with a hardener like maxi clearcoat?
Spray Max has a good 2k filler primer which is 2k. Basically, pop the little knob at the bottom, shake It up and you got a good 2k filler primer.
Do you always use a wide-open fan adjustment or do you adjust it somewhere just below wide-open?
Wide-open is good for blending, you could use wide open for overall painting. But if you really want to get the paint condensed a little bit to lay on. I would back down a quarter to a half a turn.
And we’re going to be talking more about that very very soon once I start banging out some projects with you, I’m going to show you the difference. Wide-open is good but if you want to get more paint on the panel, around six to eight widths.
I would kind of narrow it down a little bit. You don’t want to go too much, just a little bit. Because of some guns, you got a 10 inch, 12-inch fan pattern, which is great. It’s good but it’s not always the most efficient.
So narrowing down from your 12 or 13 to 9 or 10 inches gives you more paint on your panel. When you’re making a passes, you know you’re getting paint on it and you’re covering.
If sometimes, some guns, it goes so wide and that you got a wide fan pattern. But you’re not really covering well.
Thoughts on car wrapping vs traditional paint and body.
Traditional paint and body, you can really get gloss finishes with unbelievable colors. You could do the same you could get crazy graphics with wrapping. Like you could put like a comic book color or like crazy graphics on your car.
You could put literally, like print a magazine on your car. That’s you could make it with wrapping and if you don’t like it, you can peel it off. And you could plasti-dip your car which is like wrapping right there.
But you’re the only thing with wrapping is you’re limited with colors and it’s not permanent because it dies down after a few years and you got to peel it off. So it really depends on what you want to do.
If you want to have a color and custom paint job, that’s permanent that has real crazy glosses and metal flakes and pearl and candies then you got to do traditional custom paint which I like to do.
Thank you for tuning in! It’s Tony here hanging out with you guys today. Much love – Aloha and Mahalo for joining coming to you live from Paradice Garage!

Tony,
Hi my name is Michael Whitacre and i am looking to paint my 1954 Chevy 3100 Truck. My truck will have a two tone paint scheme. Top of cab down to the window bottoms and the hood and the top of the bed will be a glossy White while the fenders and the sides (inside and out) will be Plum Crazy purple. I have painted motorcycles and assisted on a couple of trucks and cars. The tailgate will be purple with White Chevrolet lettering. My questions are as follows:
1. I am looking to use AE so that it sprays nice as well as covers. Have you had good luck using these AE systems
2. Next are these really one coat, or are they really multiple coats with drying time after each coat? And then clearcoating after a day or two of curing time.
3. Should i paint the entire truck white, then come back and tape it and spray a couple of more coats on the bottom?
4, i am renting a booth, so after i paint how long before i can take it out and drive it back to my garage, and then how long before i can start putting Her back together?
3,
