QUESTION: What’s the shelf life of primer and clear?
It could be yours as long as it’s sealed. It could be years as long as you open that can up and you mix it really well because, over time that paint is going to settle in at the bottom. You want to make sure you mix that stuff up before you spray it.
QUESTION: The color is not shiny, and some areas are flat, how can I make it all shine?
Basically, you need to color sand and buff. We actually cover all of that in Learn Auto Body VIP. So for all of you newbies hanging out there if you want to get some free information on auto body and paint (like color sand and buff), I definitely highly recommend you to basically at least get the FREE book on learnautobodyandpaint.com right over here.
QUESTION: Had paint mixed in a can so when painting it spattered when sprayed, how do I fix it?
Well, make sure you filter all of your paint before putting it in a spray gun. It could be like a reason why. So make sure that after you mix your paints, you filter it before putting it in a spray gun unless you’re using a cup system like a Quick Kup System or a 3M PPS system where it has a filter, you know before it comes through to your gun neck and spray it out.
